We Believe:

  • The Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit and is God's instruction manual for life on earth. (Prov 4:13; 2 Tim 3:16)
  • In one God who is our creator and our father. (Eph 4:6)
  • One God exists and functions as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Isaiah 46:9; 2 Cor 13:14; Matt 28:19; 1 John 5:7; Col 2:9)
  • Jesus Christ is the only son created from our God; He was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. (John 3:16; Matt 1:18; 1 John 4:2; 1 John 4:9)
  • Jesus was crucified to pay our debts. After He suffered and died, He was laid in a tomb; He went to Hell to defeat Satan and then rose from the dead after three days. (Acts 2:31; 1 Pet 3:18-19; 1 Cor 15:3-5; Rom 8:11; Phil 3:21)
  • Christ ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as our intercessor, defender, healer, and friend. (John 3:13; 1 Cor 12:4-6)
  • All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. The only perfect one is Jesus Christ. (Rom 3:23)
  • Because of Christ's work on the cross, when we repent of our sins, we are forgiven and our sins are wiped away forever. (Rom 5:1; Tit 3:7; 1 John 1:9; 1 Pet 2:24)
  • We are born again and given a new life through the blood of Jesus Christ. (1 Pet 1:23; John 3:3)
  • In the baptism of the Holy Spirit. (Luke 2:49; Acts 1:5; Acts 8:15-17)
  • In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit communicates with us and through us. (This is one evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit; others include casting out demons, healing, prophesying, and the discernment of spirits.) (1 Cor 12:10, 28, 31)
  • In water baptism by immersion as a symbolic testimony of our commitment to Christ. (As we are immersed in the water, our sins are cleansed and washed away, reminding us of why Christ suffered and died on the cross for us.) (Matt 28:19; Mark 1:9-10; John 3:22-23)
  • Divine healing is provided for all through Christ's death on the cross. (Ps 103:3; Isa 53:4-5; Matt 8:17; James 5:14-16; 1 Pet 2:24)
  • In the Lord's Supper and the washing of the believers' feet. (Luke 22:17-20; John 13:4-17; 1 Tim 5:9-10)
  • In the pre-millennial second coming of Jesus:
  •       First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living believers
to Him in the air. (1 Thess 4:16-17)
  •       Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years. (Rev 20:3; 2 Thess 2:8)
  • In eternal life for those who believe that Christ died on the cross to cleanse us of our sins and eternal punishment for those who have denied Christ and His ways. (John 3:16; 2 Thess 2:10; 1 John 1:9; Jude 1:4)
