Come Join Us for Our first Family Fun Day this School Year!

It's that time again . . . Calling all families for a day of fun!

We will have music, video games, a Blessed Pot dinner, popcorn, punch, and many other goodies. It's going to be a blast!

Enter in some of our games and contests and play some video games--we have many to choose from! Don't miss the KINECT tournament. Slash some fruit, pommel the pomegranate, and slice and dice some watermelon!

We have a variety of talents here at True Life Covenant.

There's still time to tell your friends. Bring a friend or more!

This month's Family Fun Day is sponsored by the Bauer's. Our theme is the Fruit of the Spirit.

It's always a great time at True Life Covenant!

There is one way to freedom and it is in JESUS! JESUS is the Way, the Truth, and the Life!

Brian Allen and his wife, Beth, from Owosso, Michigan, have formed Stomp''N the Ground Ministries. This ministry is dedicated to bringing the Hope of Jesus Christ to all people--especially those who have had some of the deepest kinds of struggles--drug addiction, alcoholism, poverty, rejection, and broken hearts.

At Stomp''N the Ground Ministries, Brian and Beth believe in STOMPing the enemy into the ground where he belongs, while lending a hand to those who are sinking into a pit of destruction, lifting them out of the enemy's snare with the powerful Word of God.

Brian is an anointed evangelist, preacher, and teacher. True Life Covenant's TLCamp for Youth was blessed with his gifting as he delivered a powerful, Holy Spirit message on the opening of camp night, Sunday, July 8. Brian encouraged our youth to seek their destinies in God and through God. "Know God's plan for your life"--how this applies to us all!

Brian and Beth Allen will be visiting True Life Covenant as we host Brian as our guest evangelist, Sunday, August 12, 11 AM. Please join us. You will be blessed!

TLCamp for Youth 2012

What a Blast!

True Life Covenant's First Youth Camp!

We had an incredible time at TLCamp for Youth, 2012 at Outdoor Adventures in Davison. We stayed at the Lake Shore Resort, which is situated in a beautiful natural setting of nature trails with a spring-fed lake.

The resort offers a beach area with swimming, volleyball, paddleboats, rowboats, and kayaks; a large dome with an indoor pool, sauna, Jacuzzi tub, snack bar, activity and crafts area, fitness center, movie room, video arcade, dance floor and DJ; two outdoor pools; two outdoor Jacuzzi tubs (7 person and 22 person); lazy river; splash pad; miniature golf; and other recreational facilities.

In addition to taking advantage of the resort's many amenities, we had daily devotionals, nightly Teaching Campfires, cookouts, and many opportunities to hang out and have a great time in a safe, family, God-focused environment.

On opening night, before the parents partook of their freedom for a few days, we had our official TLCamp Kick-Off Taco/Nacho Dinner Bar. Our guest speaker for the first evening's Teaching/Campfire was Evangelist Brian Allen of Stomp''N the Ground Ministries, accompanied by his lovely wife, Beth. It was a powerful and anointed night!

We even had visitors to our 9:00 nightly Teaching/Campfires! One man rededicated his life to the Lord and received encouragement and new direction for His life and a woman of God received a healing for her body. God is incredible!

We had championship activities, too, and the youth did great. Everyone participated and tried their best. See the results on the following page. We also gave awards out for the winners of our Champion Activities at our closing ceremony and for our Camp Chefs, Outstanding Camper, Camp Counselor, Outstanding Service, and Outstanding Camp Director, of course.

We gave each of the youth $10 worth of quarters at the beginning of the week and it was interesting to see who saved and who spent and how the kids spent their money. Another lesson, but did they know that? We had a wonderful time. Our youth were well behaved and helpful to one another. We used the buddy system and this worked out great. No one was ever alone and the kids teamed up well together as they made their plans for each free time session. They followed the rules and didn't complain.

We had one night when everyone was a bit tired from all the heat, swimming, biking, and boating, so we skipped the s'mores and headed to bed after the Teaching Campfire, but everyone woke up refreshed and ready to go again the next morning!

Parents, be proud of these young people. They are fabulous and growing up fast. The best part is that they are growing up with God because of the positions you have placed them and how you are feeding them.

Amazing!
